PEKARI and co. Ltd. are bakers who produce a wide range of bread, pastries and confectionery, which is supplied to their business partners in Ostrava and parts of the neighbouring districts Karviná, Opava, Nový Jičín and Frýdek-Místek.

Our bread products and confectionery are manufactured in the commercial bakery on Porubska Street, which became the property of the company in 1996, when "Ostrava Bakery" was privitised.

PEKARI and co. Ltd. produce traditional baked products in particular daily bread rolls, buns, pastries and cakes. Production in the bakery "U věžiček" (next to the turret) on Porubska Street originally started to produce bread in 1960 and achieved full production capacity in 1961. Today, more than 45 years later, the locally baked products are still made according to traditional recipes, produced entirely using the best quality raw materials. We strive to keep our good name, which has been developed, throughout the years, with the help of our customers support and our business partners efforts.

The aim of PEKARI and co. Ltd and our 130 employees is to join this tradition of manufacturing freshly baked products and to reliably supply the increasing requirements of our business partners regarding quality, product range and ensuring no health issues are encountered.

To secure our aims every year we are investing sizable resources into reconstructing manufacturing buildings, purchasing new baking technology and new vehicles to transport our produce.
Due to significant improvements in the hygienic conditions of our bakery, it was awarded by the Bureau Veritas Certification the certificate of conformance to the international HACCP System, which is sustained every year.
